do SNRI's work for anxiety?
Question:
– just wondering with the new drug vestra comming out, do the snri’s work in treating anxiety disorder? I have tried many of meds and cant take the regualr ssri and the like and was wondering if anyone had any knowledge of this. I now there are other snri’s already out there, but this new one claims less side effects. My problem is i cant handle anything that makes me jumpy…. or that gives me anxiety like the initial doses of ssri’s tend to do. brian s.

So far Vestra hasn’t been tested for panic disorder, but you can bet that it will be prescribed just like all the other antidepressants. Probably it will be like Wellbutrin and won’t be particularly helpful. We’ll see more posts on this subject.
