Here I am again
Question:
Same subject about a weird sensation in my heart? Sort of..for the last two days now I have had the skipped heartbeat thing to many times to remember. I use to get them at night when I would try to relax watching tv and they would go away. But for the last two days they have been constant. I am worried something is wrong with my heart. It has got to be. I was supposed to work today but still got some sick days so I took one. Can stress(just had one) or things bring this on. Tell me other people with anxiety disorder suffer from this as well. Cracking up

Yes. Very common. Being aware of your heartbeat. Thinking it’s too fast, irregular, that you’re going to have a heart attack. Very common. Maybe almost universal. Laurel

Well, this *is* indeed a common anxiety symptom. Still, if you wish to rule out other causes you can have an EKG done, wear a 24 holter monitor and do a stress test. If nothing is wrong (which seems most likely) you can chalk it down to anxiety. A betablocker will help with this specific symptom. Philip – Hide quoted text — Show quoted text –
