One thing I've got to say before cell dies

Question:

- Hide quoted text — Show quoted text – Stay positive and love your life dang, one of my cells just died! I’d meant to answer you before about something when my computer was messed up. You were talking about the ceremony you went through when cutting. funny coz I’d recognized a long time ago that stoners do the same thing. everything you have to go through to get stoned almost becomes as important as actually smoking it. u gotta find it, once you have it you prepare it. You’re breaking it apart between your fingers or breaking off a bit. In that way it’s kinda like a drug, and that is to say that drug use is more than drug use, it’s about growing comfortable in a routine. In a psychological sense you can look at the preparation and the attraction to it as obsessive compulsive. I don’t know how any of that helps anyone, but it’s just my observation and I wanted to say it. so … did u see a doc again yet? and did you read up on antidepressants? I’ll do a better post on antidepressants later but let me know where you stand now plz. Yeah, I’ve been three times now.. I’ve read tons of stuff about antidepressants, but, it seems that I’ve got Bipolar I and some kind of anxiety disorder.. I’m on Depakote right now, it was originally for epileptics, but it was approved for use in bipolar patients in 1996.. I have yet to see any real results, but I’m being patient.

OK well that’s cool. I dunno where bipolar I came from as opposed to bipolar II, but whatever. My advice is not to identify too much with that "disorder", but for now do the drugs and I hope you have some good advice as far as your therapy. It’s really important to find guidance as far as finding ways to react more positively to life situations. I hope your therapy is dealing with that … it’s what we call cognitive therapy. I’m more comfortable that you’re on depakote rather than prozac, just because the prozac can be so unpredictable. I imagine that’s why they say you’re bipolar because they aren’t sure how you’d react to the prozac. It’s not going to be as effective as an anti depressant, well it’s not an anti depressant. Probably if they see that you still have problems with depression they’ll offer you wellbutrin. It’s also an SSRI type antidepressant, but they’re all different, and that particular one is supposed to not take one too far beyond depression … or in more simple terms, it’s not supposed to make you crazy like prozac can. If you feel personally that it’s not acting like enough of an an anti depressant, perhaps you could ask your doctor about it, and consider yourself, trying St. John’s Wort. That’s a natural antidepressant that doesn’t have the side effects of chemical SSRI’s. I’m sort of a fan of st. john’s wort as opposed to chemical ssri’s. Still, give the depakote a chance for some time and see what you think. bye!
