Rollercoaster..OT.
Question:
It’s here, all of fifteen minutes from my front door NITRO the new rollercoaster at Six Flags Great Adventure. 23 story drop(230 feet high…) fifth highest rollercoaster.. *sigh* Well..I am sure I will try it out someday..the only phobia I don’t have. I LOVE rollercoasters..the pic of it in the paper gave me the chills.
Cheryl, the really "interesting"? thing is that people pay to ride these things so they can experience what we do during a {{{ PA }}}!!!
Same goes for base jumping, mountain climbing, skydiving and jumping off high places with a couple of thin rubber bands tied to your ankles. Good God, you are right…on the Batman ride I had chest pain and kept going…Maybe we need to name the new rollercoaster Panic Attack. Same goes for base jumping, mountain climbing, skydiving and jumping off high places with a couple of thin rubber bands tied to your ankles.
Forget that crap. I need a seat with a huge harness on me a bit closer to the ground…LOL But don’t tell anyone, or someone may start to charge us for every anxiety attack!!! <VBG
I don’t seem to panic on a rollercoaster…I only panic on the way THERE. The Monkeys are the reason no vinyl tops…they get up and sit on your car which is a riot…elephants, giraffes, tigers..all kinds of neato animals(of course, I was about twelve when I went last)…I am not sure why Walmart scares me and they(rollercoasters) do not..never have. They didn’t want the apes to get into the car : ) I haven’t been to Sesame Place in Bucks County, PA. My sister’s friends get annual passes for their kids. The last time I went on a rollercoaster was in ‘96 in DisneyWorld. I didn’t have an PA’s there although a few months after that I started taking meds for PD. Wow, Cheryl, I’m in awe of you, wanting to ride that hideous sounding roller coaster!! You go! (A roller-coaster was the scene of my very first panic attack — at age 4 or 5. Relived the whole experience while under hypnosis by a psychologist when I was in my late 20s. ARGHHH! I’m with Ted — won’t go near the things. I’m a real wimp at the amusement park.) – Anne

I am in utter awe that they do not scare me but Walmart does…<shaking head Oh man, you better stay far away, don’t even think exposure therapy…I got Ted on one ride at a carnival and he literally had a panic attack(he won’t admit it…but he was so upset). We went down to Ocean City and they have a little spot where there are rides and I went on them all alone.
