Sensitive to noise

Question:

Recently I went to a psychiatrist-neurologist to enquire about my sensitivity to some kinds of sounds/noises. Most sounds don’t bother me at all, but some sounds cause stress. This stress varies from a feeling of uneasiness till aggressive behaviour, and is very unpleasant for the people in my environment. Most common and frequent disturbing sounds are: –       neighbour TV sounds (unclear bass sounds) –       my partner talking fast and/or loud –       my partner eating chewing gum –       e.g. in hotels: people talking or TV sounds in the neighbouring room –       in cinema: people talking, eating
