Support for people who can only work part time
Question:
Does anyone know if there is support available for people who can work but only part time. I know if I were not able to work at all I could claim disability… Can I do the same thing? Hi Snit, My girlfriend collects partial disability for her anxiety disorder, has been for quite a few years now. She collects because she can only manage to work 15 to 20 hours a week where she use to work 40 plus. She is in NY, don`t know if disability varies from state to state. Take care

There are state programs. which differ. Federal SSI might help (supplemental security Insurance). Your state Department of vocational rehabilitation, or one of the organizations for independent living can help. Boyd
