I visited the page and found nothing wrong with it. I have a home page and I don’t announce anxiety all over it. I have received a couple of emails from xanman and he has been nothing more than nice. He sounds very nice and sweet. I don’t see anything wrong with wanting to ask others to visit your page. Perfectly harmless to me!!! Sharon…

I didn’t know adding push adds to a home page was were it was at SPAMMER!!!!! Offence under US code Title 47, Sec 227(b) (1) (C) I have recently received UNSOLICITED and UNWANTED junk usenet post from an individual who appears to be using your site. A copy of that mail is attached herewith. Junk Mail is now regarded as the same as unwanted and unsolicited junk faxes and telemarketing calls – all of which are now ILLEGAL under US federal law: By US Code Title 47, Sec.227(a)(2)(B), a computer/modem/printer meets the definition of a telephone fax machine. Hey!, Let’s give the guy a break!…perhaps this is his first attempt at a website…I know my first attempt wasn’t the "end all – be all" site. Most first time sites are Bio-type sites. What are we doing?…This guy posts a msg, saying he has AD, and a new site…then….BLAM! HE’S A SPAMMER!… HE’S TRYING TO PICK UP WOMEN! Sheesh…I looked at his site..I didn’t see anything that would suggest he’s trying to make the "moves" on women…or advertising. I believe it takes a lot of courage to come out and admit you have AD…Until I see evidence of him spamming/trying to meet women…I’m giving him the benefit of a doubt. So much for support/encouragement Disappointed/ashamed…. Dewey PS..I don’t post very much to this NG, but I often read the msgs…So, I guess that makes me a slimy lurker….if your going to persecute anyone..persecute me! I’ve been suffering for 7 years with PAD and on Prozac for 3 years..believe me …I can take it. Dewey, I agree with you. I looked at his site and it didn’t hurt me any (his dog is very cute!). He HAS posted here pertaining to his anxiety disorder. This is a newsgroup. I think that is great people have webpages, have one of my own. But I don’t post it here as it has nothing to do with this forum. So much for support/encouragement
Just saying ‘I have anxiety too’ does not tell me alot. I looked at this website and read the guestbook. Lots of personal stuff. That is why I was wondering why he posted to go there and nothing here if he wanted *support and encouragment* which he did not state he did. Gwen

I’m the one who called him a spammer. When I went to his page I immediately got 2 push ads. Which nets him X cents per visitor. The page is designed to make money or the code for the push adds wouldn’t be there. Thus in listing his site the NG the more people who check it out the more money he makes. Okay I’m going to try again my first post Did’nt go threw . I agree with Dewey & Di I was not offended & I Did’nt see were this would be Called spam (GEEZE) Some people on the NG are to quick to Judge, But what bugged me more was the statement YA SURE YA DO Who are we to judge who has Anxiety? whats next we have to fill out a Questionare And pass it out to see if it meets everyone’s approval ? Everyone copes with there Anxiety differently some peoples Anxiety levels are different than other’s I thought his homepage was good for a start it did’nt have any Anxiety info but….. maybe he’s got other intrest other than dwelling on his anxiety! Maybe instead of judging him why not help him out , if anyone has any good links ,send them to him Aurthur, your good at HP’s and have alot of good info and you seem like a sweet guy
