Your not alone there I'm in australian and it is everywhere aparantly we have the highest percentage of asbestos related illness in the world, the majority of our commision housing (you call projects)were built of it and 98% of all homes built in the 60's and 70's. Mate I worry badly about it but what do you do, see the problem I have is that I have obsessed about other illnesses and it was easy to get a fix because i could go to the doc and get a test BUT this, there is no test nothing you gotta wait 20+ years to see if you've made yourself ill and it is my waking thought every morning its sh*t to feel his way. As a child and still now most fences here are asbestos a majority of commercial building roofs, eves, a/c sheeting and on and on. I have a funny doctor he is really good and he said when he was a kid he used to build cubby houses out of scrap bits of it then kick it down, jump in it, make swords out of it to hit his brother with he's cut it done every thing and he is fine. My grandad worked with the loose stuff packing it into boilers for insulation he made a bed out of the loose stuff so when he had lunch break he'd lay on it yes there is some in the lungs but it has NOT made him sick (now 82years old worked with it from 15-59). So I dunno you have to be unlucky I suppose or be working with it a fair bit ? But I understand cause I freak to your not alone !

I have this particular computer obsession. I sometimes close and reopen the browser window / website "just to make sure". Or I will engage in some ritual before clicking on a link.

I am trying to fight off this OCD, using the standard techniques used to fight other OCDs. But I guess its a matter of patience and perseverance in the end if one is to be cured.
