Has anybody had any slowness in your ability to have an orgasm and then taken Ginkgo to make it better? Did it work? I really need help with this. Shana shana…@aol.com http://members.aol.com/shanatgg/shana.html *The Goonies rules!*

Response:

Problems with orgasm are very common as a side effect of the drugs used to treat OCD. I dont know if Ginkgo does anything for this but there are some other treatments. Sadly none of them is perfect or fool proof. – Hide quoted text — Show quoted text -SHANATGG wrote: > >I’m currently taking Prozac and Ginkgo.  I’ve been on Prozac for years.  I’ve > >been taking the Ginkgo for several months now.  The main thing that I’ve > >noticed is that I’m not nearly as drowsy–I’ve got more energy–than I did > >before starting the Ginkgo.  I seem to have had a little boost in my memory > >too–I’ve  remembered a few things from my childhood that I haven’t thought > >about in YEARS–and the stuff just came to me out of the blue–I wasn’t > >TRYING > >to remember such things.  Anyway, Ginkgo seems to be good stuff; if you or > >anyone else out there has a problem with drowsiness caused by your medicine, > >you might want to give it a try. > >-Bill > Has anybody had any slowness in your ability to have an orgasm and then taken > Ginkgo to make it better? I’m currently taking Prozac and Ginkgo.  I’ve been on Prozac for years.  I’ve been taking the Ginkgo for several months now.  The main thing that I’ve noticed is that I’m not nearly as drowsy–I’ve got more energy–than I did before starting the Ginkgo.  I seem to have had a little boost in my memory too–I’ve  remembered a few things from my childhood that I haven’t thought about in YEARS–and the stuff just came to me out of the blue–I wasn’t TRYING to remember such things.  Anyway, Ginkgo seems to be good stuff; if you or anyone else out there has a problem with drowsiness caused by your medicine, you might want to give it a try. -Bill

Have been on Ginkgo for about a week…Seems to help my memory and concentration…And because of this, I’ve felt pretty good about myself…Sure I still obsess, but they are short term obsessions… Does this Ginkgo stuff really work, or am I just excited ???…A placebo effect ??? Used to take LUVOX, now I’m combining the Ginkgo with St. John Wort. Anybody else using this combo ?? Thanks in advance, BS

I’m using a combination of St. John’s Wort and Prozac.  From what you’ve said, I may try that Ginko stuff.  I sure could use better concentration. =-) –Buffy —–== Posted via Deja News, The Leader in Internet Discussion ==—– http://www.dejanews.com/   Now offering spam-free web-based newsreading
