Brian? Why don’t you shut you claptrap. UJ has been here longer than you and this ng LIKES UJ’s posts.

Response:

Brian, I’m sure you mean well, but uj has been here for a long time.  He never insults anyone on the ng.  You will see for yourself, over time, that he is a wonderful person and is hurting inside like so many others that have been abused. He is also suffering from OCD. Give him a chance. Thanks, mary th – Hide quoted text — Show quoted text -ultrajo…@webtv.net wrote: > can’t hndle it > yum yum

Brian, UJ is a legitimate and respected poster here. Leave him alone – you are the only person who finds him irritating, nobody else does. By all means attack the troll (TOEJAM aka SquirtsALOT aka Geraldine Goldstein) by complaining to webtv. Steve

I find this very offensive. Abuse of any sort is not a joking matter. I attribute much of my wifes disorder to her abuse as a child and my depression was due to the abuse I suffered. Sexual abuse is particularly insidious as it is difficult to speak of openly. Response:

UJ,  Are they disrespect of your ways? Does your step dad understand how you are and what you think?

Response:

I must differ on this. Sexual abuse does not need to be graphic and physical to leave deep scars. As UJ said in another thread the kissing was intense and occured over an extended time. My sexual abuse would probably be called harrasment in todays language. I was groped and molested in public by girls at school for a few years, often in front of teachers. For some reason I was blamed instead of them, maybe because I’m male. The guilt, shame and sense of injustice still affects me today and is the last hurdle of my past I need to overcome. Also, phrases like ‘worse things can happen’ are top of the list of things not to say even when we mean well by them as I’m sure you do here. It implies that a persons suffering is somehow insignificant. Suffering cannot be measured, it is a unique experience for each individual and cannot be compared. I’m sure you didn’t mean to say it in that way but that is how it is often taken. It takes skill to respond to such issues, on one hand not seeming to trivialise it and on the other not letting it seem like the end of the world. Which is why talking it through with a therapist is indeed a good idea, they are trained in this sort of thing. Perry Mobley <pmob…@erols.com> wrote in message

Hey ultrajohn, Did your dad really do this – make you kiss your mom – or is this an obsessive thought? I have never known what you really mean by that. If it really happened I think I can understand why you want to get away … to Vegas. Actually I suppose an obsession ’bout that would be upsetting too. Also, why do you hate your mom so much if it was your dad that forced you to kiss your mom? It sounds like your dad might be the bad guy – or am I way off? — Monkey http://pages.hotbot.com/health/sillychickens/ mon…@gilligansisland.net (to email me axe ‘gilligans’) —

I assume you are talking about giving your mom a regular kiss and not something perverted like a French kiss. If it was a regular kiss….what is the problem? I kiss my mom, my mother-in-law, my father-in-law, my sisters & of course my husband. ultrajo…@webtv.net wrote in message

Response:

Doesn’t sound like you are the one who is "sick". Sometimes children are made to do horrible things because their parents (or some other authority figure) forces them. If this is currently happening to you, please call your local hotline to report the abuse & be given guidance on possibly how to go about getting out of that situation. If you are of age, perhaps you can leave. I can guess you are very angry with your father for making you do it, and of course your mom because she didn’t stop it from happening. Once you are in a safe place, you can begin working on understanding that *you* aren’t the one who is or was "sick". Hope I’m not making this sound too simple. It isn’t. But you’ve already made a wonderful start just by reaching out & telling what happened to you. ~~~Octavia ===================== In article <4412-36787DDB-…@newsd-161.iap.bryant.webtv.net>,   ultrajo…@webtv.net wrote: > my dad made me kiss her! > after i say his playboys! > sick! i hate me

Not surprising. What did she "do" (physically or emotionally) to you to cause you to hate her? Secondly, and most important, don’t know how old you are but I hope you are of age where you can stay away from her so she can’t cause you further damage & to give you time to safely get your head back on straight. ~~~Octavia (OCD face digger, scalp picker, over-eater, clutter bug, etc. in case anyone is wondering who the heck I am & why I’m lurking around in this group) ———–== Posted via Deja News, The Discussion Network ==———- http://www.dejanews.com/       Search, Read, Discuss, or Start Your Own
