At the time you came to the newsgroup recently, we’d just gone thru a HUGE round of dealing with Gregory’s recent "outing" and learning of the various false identities they’ve been using. As a result, people got very distrustful and paranoid. When you came, you got caught up in the middle of it. It’s nothing personal against you- people are (rightly) hypersenitive right now and anybody new who comes in was/is automatically looked upon with suspicion because no one knew if Gregory had attempted to return to aso under a different account and personality since everyone now knows that the whole "Gregory" thing is a sham. There are people here who will think you are Gregory, and there are people here who will think you aren’t. The thing is, we just don’t know and people will think who they want to think.
