From what I can gather, apparently the webmasters need a break from running the site – they’ve been doing it for about five years now… Bill & Ida Kern wrote: – Hide quoted text — Show quoted text -> why? > Jesse <jes…@aol.com> wrote in message news:399FEC39.2EF4E710@aol.com… > > The Fairlite OCD board will be shut down as of August 23…

I’m very sorry that I missed Blood of the Vikings. I’m not watching much TV at the moment as I am currently without a license. They did some research recently that showed 90 percent of Europeans are descended from 7 people. Did you here about that? I always had a hunch we were all probably related to one another. As for history, all we ever did at school was post 1066. In my opinion, there’s a great deal of very interesting stuff from the first millennium. But much of it is not hard history, because it comes in the form of poetry, ballads and myth. I love it. My great grandfather was Welsh and was a bard. As a young boy, my grandfather remembered seeing piles of bardic texts around the house. -John — **************************************** http://www.furryworm.freeserve.co.uk email – please use the mail form ****************************************

How’s things in Denmark, Lars? You are in Denmark, no? Pretty much the same as here I guess… grey skies, etc. I come from Yorkshire. We have a lot of Danish blood. And our accent is strongly influenced that way. We use the verb "to lake" meaning "to play." You don’t feel like laking at the moment? That’s okay. Best wishes, John Lars wrote:

Ah yes, ‘Blood of the Vikings’. Have you been watching that? I’m hoping they can use that blood test to find out what I’ve got in me. I reckon there’s some Viking there. — simon smith
