Question:
hi y’all. the renov going well, gotta peel up the old carpet today. risk of water in the basement has passed, for the first time ever I had to clamber up on the roof and shovel the snow off. then I jumped off into the snow bank I just made that was fun. my daughter reported a mouse scampering in the ceiling tiles downstairs when she was here, but it seems the little critter has again moved outside, there is a fresh mouse hole in the composter. sometimes I used to envy the small mammals since they dont get ocd, it then occurred to me that maybe they do, maybe our own ‘monkey’ isnt the only one to suffer this condition. anyway one day we may dismantle all those complex expensive single perpose fighter jets and put the resources towards eliminating the real causes of suffering in the world. that would be nice but I aint holdin my breath waiting. p.s. that snow shovelling is one helluva fantastic work out. timing was perfect too, right after all those xmas feasts!!! cherrio all, take care ttyl — ———————————————————————— you know those instructions on the TV dinner that say ‘cook from frozen’? bullshit plan ahead, thaw it in the fridge then nuke it right the first time ————————————————————————

Actually, animals do get ocd. Dogs have been observed to scratch themselves in the same spot to the point of bleeding and when given drugs to increase serotonin they stopped.
