Do others take luvox?
Question:
I take luvox for treatment of depression, but don’t hear others here mention it much. It’s usually used to treat ocd, but it really helps in my treatment. Are there others here on luvox? Or do I secretly have ocd? lisa off to wash my hands — Our lives begin to end the day we are silent about things that matter. Martin Luther King, Jr.

I used to take it but then it stopped working for me. Or do I secretly have ocd?

Or do I secretly have ocd? A friend of mine takes it for depression and she has BPI I think (or BPII, but she has very bad manic episodes, unlike mine which are hard to notice). It’s probably not as common as some of the other meds… and luvox has a nasty side effect of losing hair (which apparently I have been suffereing even though I’m not on a med that has that as a main side effect).
I didn’t know this!!! Depo-provera can do this too! Between the two, I’d better go get a wig! lisa off to the mall — Our lives begin to end the day we are silent about things that matter. Martin Luther King, Jr.

Don’t forget to sniff the armpit wigs before buying. — The opinions given above may be mine. They might also just be what I feel like saying right now, okay?

Hi Lisa, Yep, I took Luvox for about 3 weeks last year and that was all I could stand. My doc rxd it cause I was depressed but also cause my spending habits were compulsive to say the least. The thing was I couldnt shop any more, in fact I couldnt do anything but lay in bed like a zombie and watch tv. So yeah I can see how it might benefit OCD patients but it wasnt for me. Im glad it works for you though. Jennifer

It’s all real! I have naturally fat hair, so there’s no need to suspect silicone implants. — The opinions given above may be mine. They might also just be what I feel like saying right now, okay?
