Hi GSol, I do the exact same thing, I obsess over conversations I just had because I’m afraid I might have accidentally offended the other person. To reassure myself that I didn’t I frequently have to replay the dialogue in my head.. I have a terrible memory so this doesn’t work too often! Unfortunately, the more you try to recall the conversation the worse you will feel. If you have OCD, you’ll feel a sense of overpowering doubt even if you finally remember everything. The doubt just breaks right off and splits into a thousand more fine branches. I’ve noticed that most obsessions seem to have a window of discomfort lasting a minute or more…trickiest part is not giving in…in your case your obsessing over conversations. You might want to try to stop the thoughts altogether & distract yourself with another activity. It’s not easy to do but it’s the only thing that seems to work (I’ve had occasional success with "thought-stopping"). Behavioral therapy can also be very helpful for this type of problem. Take care, — Fly — hoarding ocd is like an annoying roommate that won’t leave
