Response:
Hi, It’ll probably take some time for the Geodene to work. Try to hang in there! I’ll be interested in hearing about this new drug & it’s effectiveness….. Mary – Hide quoted text — Show quoted text ->my doc put me on xanax and a new drug called geodene, but its not helping

Hello. I think my psychatrist will be trying to put me on new meds, i think i need them, but anyway is there anything i should stear clear from? i dont know, im just reallys cared of taking meds. I had a big prob on Effexor, it made me sick, and the side effects of zoloft were yukky. THanks
Response:
It’s a crap shoot. A drug that makes me ill may work wonders for you. Everyone’s different. Drugs that do nothing for me, other people swear by. I took about 7 different anti-depressants over the years. I’m not above trying something else….. Ida "chris" <A…@me.for.my.EMAIL.address.com> wrote in message

Good going! It’s can be very difficult to take that first step. For me calling up a psychologist and saying ‘I think I might have OCD’ was one of the hardest things I have done. > Having been to my doctor I have been > perscribed Lustral (Sertraline) and have just started to take it. I have never taken that med (aka zoloft in Canada) but my experience with paxil (seroxat in Britain – I think?) was that I felt pretty strange for the first week or two; dizzy, tired, more anxious, weird body tensions like my entire body needed to yawn, inability to reach orgasm and some others I can’t remember. But they all faded away some faster than others. Check out: http://www.rxlist.com/ for info about your meds. — monkey

Hi all, I have been suffering from OCD for about 22 years now and have finally decided to do something about it. Having been to my doctor I have been perscribed Lustral (Sertraline) and have just started to take it. Has anyone else tried this and how has it affected you? I’m a little concerned as I took my first tablet today and have felt quite dizzy since. TIA Geoff. Cheers, BritishBeef
