Missing doses of Zoloft
Question:
On saturday I missed my 150mg dose of Zoloft. Since then my ocd has gotten alot worse. Even before I missed that one dose, things were getting shitty again, but this made it worse. Should missing that one dose set me back? James

one thing to check is half-life. zoloft will give you withdrawel becomes its half-life is relatively short, compared to something like prozac. if you continue to follow your doses through afterwards, it shouldn’t be that bad. check your prescribing information. — (sig)–Advocating hexadecimal and binary over decimal for common use. I don’t think it should, based on the long half-life these drugs have (I am basing this on prozac, zoloft may be different, of course). But the fact that things were getting "shitty" before you missed the one dose makes it seem plausible. OCD waxes and wanes (I think with the moon – aawwoooo! – just kidding) all on its own, sometimes regardless of which medications you are taking. Hope things improve, and if I got the beginning part wrong, someone jump in. Take care, Lachryma
