[posted and emailed] Anyone have any comments on Paxil. I’m taking 20mg per day and would like to hear personal side effects rather then the medical terms.
i had sleepiness nausea and inability to acheive orgasm I only started yesterday but was feeling nothing, I mean nothing, no emotions. I didn’t feel sad, mad, happy, stressed nothing but when I tried to explain it to my husband I actually laughed (something we don’t do much together)
if you are feeling an effect this quickly, call your pdoc – paxil may be precipitating mania, which you DEFINITELY don’t want to have to contend with (mania messes with judgment) Dark Prism – My personality refracts darkly through the serotonigenic spectrum. Hi, I am new here, but I read your post. I am taking Paxil and have been for almost a year and 1/2. Paxil had little side-effects compared to the other anti-depress. that I have had experiences with. I had a dry mouth, temporary loss of appetite, and I slept a lot at first. Now, I am taking 30 mg. (One and 1/2 tablets), and doing fine. I hope my info helped.. That makes me laugh too as I usually am pretty sharp but this dulls it up a bit. I was told that is a early side effect and will lessen as time goes on. I would like to hear any comments about the drug. Thanks Jane — Opportunity makes your future." From the Movie Risky Business 1983 Want to see my home page?
