pregnancy and TS
Question:
I’m posting a second request for any information concerning what pregnancy is ike for those with TS. My 26 year old daughter delivers in several weeks, so anything concerning early motherhood would also be welcome.

I found that with my OCD(linked to the TS) and anxiety and excessive worry that goes along with it, that I worried alot more than I THINK is normal while prego, in labor, and afterwards, about the health and safety of my babies. Due to the TS related OCD I was always having grisly thoughts of hideously malformed babies, or "convinced" somehow that they would be stillborn, etc.. always frantic with worry of some defect, and terryfied more than the usual about losing them. It remained so particularily for the first 6 months of the newborn’s birth as well(the highest risk age for Sudden Infant Death Syndrome) I was always scared of losing them to SIDS.I also was afraid they’d have bizarre and fatal reactions to their immunization, be hit by cars, kidnapped, and the like. Due to TS the "normal" worries both an expectant, and later on, mother, are magnified many, many times over.I still now, live in fear for my kids safety; afraid somehow they’ll be taken from me….
