Whenever I get a sweepstakes in the mail where they have a pre-selected winning number, I’m compelled to send it in . I’m afraid if I don’t send it in. How do you get over this obsession if I ever fail to send in my entry by mistake? PS I don’t ever buy any of the magazines.

If you don’t learn to deal with this uncertainty, and live with it, it will haunt you. As OCD goes, my prediction is if you don’t treat this one quickly, it will quickly spread to supermarkets, 7-elevens, and Circle K’s. — Fly — "The chief reason for failure of behavior therapy is not carrying out exposure treatment with sufficient thoroughness." – Anxiety and Its Treatment ~ Greist, Jefferson, Marks
