Back from the sun
Question:
Hi everyone. Well, we’re back from our holiday in Benalmadena and it was fabulous.
We were glad to be leaving, though, as the temperature had climbed to 30 degrees C on the final day (Thursday). We arrived back very tired and bronzed at 2a.m. Friday morning, and I’m glad to report no major panic attacks during the stay or the journeys. I’ll post a few photos on the ASAPM photo page. The best days out were to the Parque de las Palomas (Pigeons’ Park) and Ronda. The former was at the back of our hotel and has several birds and animals roaming free and others in enclosures including emus, goats, peacocks, rabbits, ducks and swans. There is a massive fountain and lake also in there. The latter has some spectacular views over a huge valley and across to the mountains in the distance, a lovely park to sit under the shady trees, and 3 bridges built spanning enormous gorges (not wide, but very, very deep). The New Bridge, which we visited, has an old prison underneath it and joins the old and new parts of the town. We had lunch at a fabulous cafe which has every kind of tea available, all freshly made (no tea bags!!!). Anyway, I hope you are all well and hope you enjoy the photos. All the best from Steve. — The charter is available at: http://readystump.algebra.com/~asapm
