First Time Posting. Long Time PA Sufferer.
Question:
– Hide quoted text — Show quoted text – …try to deal with situations by breathing properly and accepting the PA. By this I mean, I know by now that I can make it through these episodes and I can prevail, I take them on the chin, and then thumb my nose at them. Don"t think I"m being flip about a serious problem I don"t mean to be, but the first step for me was acceptance and then educating myself as much as possible about condition.Yes I have good and bad days, but with patiance, and shared help I know we can all take back our lives, and help others along the way. Keep the faith,Moose. Hey Moose, this is really great. Very few people realise the POWER of acceptance. The thing is it doesn’t just work with PD, it seems to work with everything! Learn to use it and we can *cure* anything. Real Acceptance is not just a matter of *putting up* and is not in any way a sign of weakness, or forgiveness for those who you may have reason not to forgive. It is a simple act of letting go – and with it the inner turmoil is gone. The conflict within is no more. It is no longer me fighting against this problem. It becomes me, here, doing this, now. That is all. That is sufficient. I believe it’s one of the true benefits to be gained at the other end of this problem.
