Hey Kev, I didn’t know you had dropped out of school. I know you were dealing with different issues at the time. I dropped out the day I turned 16 (MA law). School was the most horrifying experience of my life. I couldn’t wait to get the hell out of there… I had this real horrible panic attack at school in front of all my friends. Lucky it was my in my last year of high school, so somehow i managed to get thru that year. Then when i was 17 and going to University i also had a real embarassing PA. Students were staring and pointing at me no joke. That must have been horrible having PA’s in school. I never knew that. Students did the same to me (for different reasons) with teachers egging them on, and as they say "for my own good". What a crock of shit. Isn’t public school a great institution ; ) I never went back. Am so lucky to have secured a job without tertiary studies. Your post reminded me of my school days. But its all in the past and i have moved on to better things now. Sorry I reminded you of those horrible days, and yes, it’s all in the past. I feel sorry for students today. Hi Kevin, i just worked out how to change the post back to plain text, i know many servers can’t read HTML very well on NGs. The law here was/still is? that you could drop out of school at 15. Sheesh! No need to apologise i am well and truly over the past. Our public school system seems to be ok here in Australia. My eldest goes to high school next year so I will get to find out first hand, but i have lots of faith in our system. Am sorry you have such a scary view of your public schools system, i hope it’s not as widespread as you think. take care, Vanessa

I want to thank you all for listening . Thing can get so rough sometimes. I feel like im driving myself crazy on the inside . But im a fighter and it will not get the best of me. I have been taken Paxil 40 mg once a day . And i take buspar 30mg twice a day . You all sound like a nice group of people and im glad i found the sight. Oh i live in North carolina and we got our first snow of the year . And probally will be the last of the year lol. Love Jeanie
