Heh…I won’t actually do this, for Halloween. I have to be whatever my homeroom dreams up. Two years ago, I was the Titanic, as i think I told you. Last year, I was Mimi, from Drew Carey. I shudder to think what I’ll be this year… Creative part of my brain is fried, so I don’t have any ideas for you right now, Pamela. Still, I could come up with something, maybe. : ) Unicorn <b4uaunic…@my-deja.com> wrote in message

You are so lucky! You have 7.5 weeks of hollidays a year! Spreaded evenly throughout the year, each year! Each Sunday of a week adds up to 7.5 weeks of hollidays! A friend made me realize that this morning. I was talking with him about how I wish I coudl use my Sundays as time to recuperate both physically and spiritually, and he added those Sundays up coming up woith the dream number of 7.5 weeks of hollidays a year!!! Imagine that? And we let it slip away….! Yet if any cie offered their employees that, weehh wee! Over time for me is exact same as you. Sundays are only paid double time if Fri to Sunday were worked on top of week days. Where yet after six days in a row, they have to give you a day off or pay you times two for each day of work until you get a day off. They then never allow you to work seven days in a row, or only if they really really really can not find anyone else to do the job. I heard they ahve a project on, where they need soemoen for 12 hours shifts of Sat an Sundays until December. I cooudl not take both, as that woudl be with my weeks seven days and more and so on. But am thinking of trying Mnday to ask them to give me the Saturdays. I can use the money to faster reimburse and gat back on my feet with a budget leaving me a bit of the satisfaction fo the workign kind. You know…Buying a coffee, rentinfgg a movie, buying underwear, jeans, tops, shoes, maybe a little lamp here and that there, the usual. I need a lot of "usual":). But I am thinking fo the 7.5 weeks of hollidays today and think that coudl eb qwuite enjoyable! Sure sounds like it should when we add it up, doe sit not?:) Chloe "SteveD" – Hide quoted text — Show quoted text -(darnd…@earthlink.net) writes: > Ah…. the security at my company are pairs, one stay at the guard house, while > the other makes the rounds inside, but then this is a huge company, physically > huge. > im guessing that "corricidines" is some kind of cold med. > The only way I get double time is to work on Sunday or holiday. > IF i were in the union, I could come in one hour before my shift for double > time. Ah…. the security at my company are pairs, one stay at the guard house, while the other makes the rounds inside, but then this is a huge company, physically huge. im guessing that "corricidines" is some kind of cold med. The only way I get double time is to work on Sunday or holiday. IF i were in the union, I could come in one hour before my shift for double time. As it is, this is only 1.5X for me. I could work 72 hours na week without any 2X. only the 40 hours is straight time, and the second 32 are 1.5X, and then sunday is automatic double time. even if I work 8 hour shift, mon – fri = 1X, St = 1.5X, Sun = 2X. I dont even get saturdays becasue we cannot work alone. We have equipment that can injure or kill in a heartbeat.
