My Introduction
Question:
Hi Dawn, glad the medication has helped you. And you are certainly not alone. Vanessa
I haven’t really introduced myself yet. My name is Dawn and I’m 36. I started having panic attacks in January. After years of heart problems and medication (since 1987) I had Catheter Ablation done Jan 2002. All was fine until this January when I woke up with my heart racing, cold sweats and nausea. Thought for sure my Tachycardia was coming back or I was having a heart attack. After a trip to the E.R. and a few to my cardiologist he diagnosed me with having panic attacks and put me on Lexapro 10 mgs/day. My biggest fear was dying and any kind of stress triggered it, but thankfully and I mean THANKFULLY the medicine worked. I told my cardiologist my fears and he told me "Dawn, you’re not going to die on my shift". It’s a amazing what a few words can relieve. I’ve learned a lot in this New Group and it’s nice to know that I’m not alone. That’s my story and I’m stickin’ to it!! :-) — The charter is available at: http://readystump.algebra.com/~asapm
Response:
Welcome Dawn, and hello to the other Dawn! What are the odds of three Dawns on the group? I just don’t see the name that often. I am the 33 year old, BTW : ). Dawn — The charter is available at: http://readystump.algebra.com/~asapm

The odds of three Dawns on a group this small is very small. There was another "Chip" several weeks ago, but I haven’t seen him since. Chip — The charter is available at: http://readystump.algebra.com/~asapm
