Panic attacks returning
Question:
After going med free for a while I started taking Celexa two and a half weeks ago ( 10 mg ). I am seeing a return of panic attacks and many symptoms and know that this is common with this med. Could use some encouragement to get through this period as I am having doubts about continuing Celexa. Wishing a panic free day to all. Ray

Like all SSRI’s and many other AD’s Celexa takes time to settle in your body system. You should give it about eight weeks to be able to assess its effect. If you are troubled by side effects too much take a benzo like Xanax on the side, at least during the adjustment period. YMMV of course. Philip
