SSRI's have worked for me ?

Question:

was soooo ill with a massive increase in anxiety/panic. Took 3 days off work I was so bad with them. Now it feels alot better and I am happy but I have to ask myself this question. Am I feeling happy because I am back to my level of anxiety before the tablets and that this original level now seems easier to cope with ? I mean those side effects were the worst. The scenario is that I am now hooked on a SSRI that is really doing nothing or can I expect a better time in another two weeks ? Cheers Steve

Response:

Hi Steve:-) IME with Zoloft it was not a dramatic change but one more subtle. Slowly I gained my confidence back that I was better and Panic attacks were no longer controlling me. I started seeing positive results in the first two weeks and by two months the benefits were becoming more obvious by my abilities to leave my comfort zones. Hope this helps Charla
