Update on Marci(MissyMarcy)
Question:
[...] My husband told her to take out what needs to be taken out and leave the rest alone. Which she agreed.
Get it in writing. ;-) I will keep everyone updated as to how I am doing. The weekend before surgery I will be a mess, I get sick and nervous and have panic attacks especially the day before and the day of. My doctor knows this and said she will take care of it.
Do you have medication for panic attacks? It might be a good idea to have something available at home in case you have one _after_ the surgery. Good luck with the surgery. Keep us posted. Painfree wishes, =Tamar

Hi everyone, I went to my doctor yesterday . It went pretty well. The cysts that were on the right ovary are gone, which I am glad. She said the right ovary is normal as far as she can tell. The two that were on my left ovary have grown and there is a new one also. So now I have three on that ovary. Then she told me there are a few little tiny ones around these three. So the left ovary has to come out. I am having my surgery on November 2, I am the second case. Hopefully the first one won’t show so they can get me in there faster. I know that sounds awful, but I hate surgery . She hopes to be able to do this through laproscopy, she will also get any Endo that is there. It will be outpatient unless she has to open me up and then I will be in the hospital for a few days. She told me I need to realize that my right ovary may do as the left one has in the future. That I could be back in a year, two, or three having more surgery. I told her I would worry about that when the time comes. At this time I don’t think i can handle it if everything came out. In the future I will be more prepared.(Ihope) My husband told her to take out what needs to be taken out and leave the rest alone. Which she agreed. I will keep everyone updated as to how I am doing. The weekend before surgery I will be a mess, I get sick and nervous and have panic attacks especially the day before and the day of. My doctor knows this and said she will take care of it. When I have the surgery I will have Wayne let everyone know how I did and am doing. I hope everyone is having a good day and that it is painfree. Everyone have a great week and weekend. Thanks for being here for me, it really means a lot to me. Hugs, Marci

Hi Tamar, Karyl, and Darcy and everyone else, Thankyou for the thoughts and prayers I need them. I have it in writing as to what is to be done. Don’t want to wake up to a surprise! I am going to call my doctor the Friday before surgery and see if she will give me something I can take at home for my panic attacks. If not she will give me something when I get there. She did the last time. Also for after surgery at home. Thankyou again and I will keep everyone posted. I hope every one is having a painfree day and have a great weekend. Hugs, Marci

Good luck to you on your surgery. Hopefully you won’t have problems with the other ovary and won’t have to go back for surgery anytime soon. Is the dr going to give you something to relax you so you don’t worry so much before the surgery? It sounds like you’re in good hands and I hope your surgery goes well. I’ll keep you in my prayers. Darcy
